What Makes a Bathroom Genuinely Accessible

Real accessibility is built into the structure, not screwed on afterwards. A grab bar has to anchor into solid blocking installed inside the wall before the wallboard goes on — a bar fixed into drywall with plastic anchors will pull out at exactly the moment somebody's weight is on it, and we have removed plenty of them.
